The English Christian Mission in NW Germany seeks to provide and facilitate Christian Worship services and ministry for residing and visiting English speakers. We are founded under the oversight of the Diocese in Europe of the Church of England and our vision is to support prayerfully and act practically to provide a Christian presence.
Our services are extended to veterans, foreign students, refugees, and holiday visitors whose primary language is English and who are seeking worship opportunities in the English language. The mission also supports individual worshipping communities and host nation German churches committed to the provision of English language and ecumenical Christian worship. Where appropriate ELCM will also provide, spiritual, pastoral, and moral advice to those seeking support in close association with host nation churches and authorities.
