Matthew 5:6

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.

1. “Hunger and thirst” implies a strong desire do God’s will from the heart, but also a yearning that justice may be done everywhere on earth. In contrast, any form of unrighteousness should grieve us and makes us homesick for the new heaven and earth.
